Dr. Abuhamad, Mason C. Andrews Chair in Obstetrics and Gynecology, Professor and Chair of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Vice Dean for Clinical Affairs, has been a pioneering figure in ultrasound education, putting our institute at the forefront of handheld ultrasound curriculum. The current chair of the Ob Right program, Dr. Abuhamad has served as president of the Society of Maternal-Fetal Medicine, the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine, the Maternal-Fetal Medicine Foundation and the Society of Ultrasound in Medical Education. He has authored 31 book chapters, 156 articles in peer-reviewed journals and two textbooks on fetal echocardiography.
